To access the general preferences of iMusic Valet, please select Preferences from the iMusic Valet menu or select Settings from the Options menu.
• Startup settings
• Remember Position
iMusic Valet window, at startup, is automatically centered on the screen. It does not remember the last window position when you reopen it, unless you select this option.
• Launch at login
Lets you specify whether to automatically launch iMusic Valet when your computer starts up.
• Display settings
• Float Above Everything
If you choose to enable this option, the iMusic Valet window floats above all running applications, no matter which application is active.
• Show Tooltips
When the user hovers the cursor over an item, without clicking it, a small "hover box" appears with supplementary information regarding the item being hovered over. This option shows up the tooltips help which is assigned to any element where you are currently floating over, as well as the whole text of fields whose size is to short to display its entire content.
• 12 Hours format
Specifies whether the time display uses a 12-hour clock or a 24-hour clock.
• Library settings
• iTunes Folder
By default, songs and other files you import into iTunes are stored in a default location. If you have changed this default location, click the > button and select the right location of your iTunes music folder.
• Skip Errors
When iMusic Valet is playing a list of songs, it may encounter some error (file not found, file unreadable, etc.). If you active this option, iMusic Valet will simply skip that song and play the next one, without interrupting the music to warn you.
